My home state of North Dakota was under a 2 mile thick glacier 100,000 years ago. Not far from Colorado’s ski areas, dinosaur fossils are easily found. I think we can conclude that the climate has changed over the eons.

Mike Shellenberger and Steve Koonin, once stalwarts on the IPCC panels have backed away from the most dire predictions.  Shouldn’t we determine if the changes causative or correlative before we take down civilization?

The good news: In large numbers, many Independents and Republicans have stood up and abandoned the Democrats’ versions of the climate’s apocalypse they’ve so wrongly embraced and adjusted to fit their political agenda.

International responsibility for meeting the demands of inhabiting this wonderful planet Earth has been the focus of realists and myself for decades. The progressives have been politically abusing the natural cycles of long term trends ever since they started imparting their propaganda on cave walls.  The climate enthusiasts would gladly bury Americans under mountains of debt with their extravagant boondoggles.

If the Left truly wished to demonstrate their commitment to the planet, I offer them a few suggestions:

Clean up and fireproof the forests

Fortify vulnerable shorelines

Build reservoirs and capture hydroelectric energy

Rebuild the electrical grid

Finish pipelines to keep us transitionally energy independent

Get moving on nuclear energy

Drop the political maneuvering

The above short list of practical solutions wouldn’t allow the hysterical Leftist movements to endlessly abuse the natural cycles of Earth for political gains.

The ‘Climate Enthusiasts’ have created an agenda based strategy that dodges real environmental solutions. They are consumed with ripping power from voters and perpetuating endless control over the current and future generations.

In the meantime, tell your friends!
